Brian Spaulding
President and CEO
Brian has four decades of experience in plumbing and wet mechanical piping for commercial, industrial and residential applications. He is a certified gas installer and general contractor, and a licensed journeyman plumber in Idaho and Washington.
Brian is a veteran of the US Marine Corps.
Melissa Spaulding
Office Manager
Melissa brings decades of experience in office and staff management to the Ascent Team. She is responsible for all in-house financial business and staff oversight.
Mark Nelson
General Manager
Mark has been in the plumbing and gas mechanical piping business since 1991. He holds Washington and Idaho plumbing licenses as well as Gas Mechanical 1 and Medical Gas licenses. His experience includes eight years of estimation services and project management on projects up to $3 million mechanical.
Mark joined Ascent Mechanical and Plumbing in 2017 and serves as General Manager for all construction and remodel projects.
Scott Turk
Project Manager
A Post Falls native, Scott began his career as a excavator, traveling nationally for large projects. After 18 years in the field, he transitioned his skills to commercial and industrial plumbing applications. Scott is a licensed plumber and medical gas installer in Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Scott joined Ascent in 2019 and recently moved into project management, where he enjoys working with clients and other contractors to design and build plumbing and wet mechanical systems.
Rayann Higgins
Administrative Assistant
RayAnn joined the team in 2020 as our front line customer service provider and administrative assistant. Her previous experience includes work in the medical industry where she enjoyed providing a hands-on approach to complex
and practical issues.
Tucker
Chief Morale Officer and General Dogsbody
Tucker has devoted a lifetime of support services to the crew, including assisting with corporate culture, productivity, communications and human resources. He keeps his eye on the bottom line, and has a nose for troubleshooting!
An inveterate party animal, Tucker can be depended upon to keep the mood upbeat and pawsative.
